Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. I would advise that before playing Airsoft at any site, you make sure it has insurance cover for all players. Always wear eye protection when playing Airsoft, even if you are just playing in your backyard. Airsoft is non-lethal, no-one has ever been injured using these. It is not possible to convert these items to use anything other than little plastic BBs. Above all, Always play safe.

Pyro is short for pyrotechnics. It is used to describe smokes, flashbangs, grenades and BFGs (Blank Firing Grenades). Usually an airsofter will shout "Pyro!" when they see anything like these thrown at them cos an airsofter doesn't care what it is, but usually cares to get out the bloody way.

Google "Airbana UK airsoft skirmish sites" and follow the first link to find the airsoft sites near you. Check their age requirements (usually you will need an adult with you to sign you in) and if they do rental guns. Book with them, hire a rental, and play 🙂

Look up section 8 air soft it is near Glasgow and if you are in Edinburgh look up land warrior airsoft. If you want to customize or have your own AEG or sniper get your dad to buy you a 2 tone pro gun or your dad could get a ukara license so he have fully black guns but if he did get a ukara license i think he has to go to 2 games a month or just 2 proper games.

For what I've seen the USA is full of people that don't call their hits. Scottish airsoft players are very honest and did no one think to shout 'friendly fire'
