Reexperiencing the new Star Wars sequels through the game was way better than watching the actual three movies for me, LOL

If had had to say one thing I wish was better, it'd be that I felt most of the levels were too short. In the modern lego games we've gotten used to playing levels that can take 40+ minutes to complete. I can kind of understand why they didn't do this here, because they did have 5 levels per film, so 45 levels in total, and doing longer levels would be a lot of extra work, but there were also a lot of stuff from the films that I wish we could've played through, like the opening space-battle from Revenge of the Sith. However, being a massive fan of the open worlds and spending hours upon hours collecting every last thing in these games, I've got to say the amount of explorable worlds and collectibles does weigh up to the disappointment of the shorter levels, so overall it's still an amazing game.
I wanna see The Lord of the rings/the hobbit get their full on Lego treatment

Why do some Lego games in the PS4 Store appear to cost 0,01€, but it doesn't let you buy it? Is it not compatible with the PS4? Maybe somebody of you can help me…

Why don’t they have the cantina lobby anymore??? I miss the co op pvp battles where you captured the outposts and all that. Do they not have that anymore?

You said that the gameplay was repetitive but that’s just Lego Star Wars right? Like it’s always bursting at the seems with personality but the gameplay was always pretty repetitive.

Just bought it to play with my dad for Father’s Day. It’s lit af. Remember playing the original Lego Starwars and Starwars games on PS2 lol.
I’ve said this on another channel but they need to do this kind of thing for a lego marvel game, make a real love letter to us lego marvel fans, bring all our favorite marvel characters like all the necessary mcu characters but especially all our favorite comic book characters like Wolverine, Deadpool, the Fantastic Four all of those characters we’ve longed to see. I can imagine how cool it would be fighting as Wolverine with the new fighting mechanics introduced by lego Star Wars TSWS. And throw in some dlc packs like from Spider Man no way home that we can play with Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield’s spider man and ad some upgraded web swinging mechanics. And the cherry on the cake, give us a mind blowing customizer. Please Lego, Tt games all you guys, please make this happen, your marvel fans sure could use it

Thanks Gameranx, I feel much more informed about this game now. I wanted it, but held off it as I was afraid it would just be a HD rehash of the lego star Wars saga, thankfully it’s a bit more than that. It’s on sale on steam at the moment (17/06/2022) and I’ll be picking it up as a birthday present for myself. 🍻 cheers 🍻

I put so many hours in Lego Star Wars it’s crazy. Being in the cantina and there was different rooms based on the different movies. And in those rooms had different chapters. A good memory fa sho.
It amazes anyone could think this is better than the Complete Saga. Sure it’s fun, but my god did they focus way too much on the open-world. I was so excited to start an actual level and 5 minutes later I was like ‘that’s it?’ If you really think a Lego Star Wars game just being more of every other open-world game nowadays, I refuse to believe you played the old ones.
They honestly should redo the lord of the rings lego games.

I'm actually super impressed with the completely revamped combat system. Previous Lego game's combat system was a little bit dull. The Marvel and DC games aren't as bad because of the superpowers, but still a little bland, repetitive, and too player sided. Really glad to see the completely new combat system, and I'm curious where they're going to take this in future Lego games.
