Russian military conducted war games near the Afghan border in what was a show of strength by Moscow. Russia and allies conducted joint drills near Tajikistan’s border with Afghanistan as part of efforts to prepare for possible security threats emerging from Afghanistan, specially from the Islamic State & Al Qaeda.
